their prices seem to be a little below dealers prices and there is not the uncertainty of buying from a private party? anyone use them? what were your impressions?
You can usually get good deals on used cars from the rental places, and they’re pretty trustworthy. In my experience, the problem is finding a former rental car worth buying. Most of them are pretty boring.

I bought a 2000 Impala that was formerly an Enterprise rental car. The transmission was on it’s way out and I ended up replacing it. Aside from that and a few dents and dings, the car is in great shape. It really depends on the car. If you have a specific car in mind, ask them for any repair and maintenance records they have. It also wouldn’t hurt to have a mechanic look at the car or take it to a Pep Boys for one of their 10-point inspections.

i used to work for national one of my co-workers bought a car from them and was fine…i know nothing of the pricing but you would have to check out the car some of them are well used and some are in better condition either way the rental company does routine oil changes and maintenance so it should be good other then the wear and tear of the renters
