How much to rent an automobile?

I have to drive 100 miles round trip which includes a 10 hour stop over. What can I expect to pay to rent a car for this planned excursion? Do discount rentals (older cars) offer great savings?

If you don’t take the insurance and have a credit card/debit card or cahs deposit (Depends on the rental company) it should be around $60.00
