My License was suspended for 60 days because of speeding ticket during my probation. Now I have recived my license back from DMV so now can I rent car after suspension?

I need a car for 2 weeks, but if I call companies like Enterprise, they charge about $500.
Some cars here are selling for $5,000, so I was wondering if there is a cheaper way to rent cars.

I’m 19 and hold a UK and Indiana drivers license. I have been in America 8 months and plan to travel california in November/December time, however this would be much easier if I can rent a car whilst im there! Do you know of any rental companies that allow 19 year olds to rent cars?

No, you must be 25 to rent a car in California. You also must be 25 to drive a rental car as well. sorry =/
PS the answers that said 21 are wrong. Its a law here in california 25 is the minimum.

i was in a car accident and nationwide allows me to rent a car.So why should i have to use my own money to rent it??i dont have money for enterprise or whomever to hold money from my acct. Even though they will reimburse me when my car gets fixed, i need all my money now to pay other bills.

You need a credit card to help confirm identity, it’s the way car rental companies are set up. You also pay for petrol, full tank which the insurance probably won’t pay.
Moan to the insurance company and see if they can sort it out for you (plead poverty)
