Yes you can however, there are restrictions. You will need to have enough money on the card to allow for a Pre-Authorization. The Pre-Auth will be $100 more than the estimated cost to rent the car. For example, if the car costs $200 to rent, you will need $300 on the prepaid card.
The best prepaid card available is the Bank Freedom prepaid mastercard at http://www.bankfreedom.com – there is no activation fees or monthly fees with direct deposit. You can load it with Green Dot (the best way) and their ATM and purchases are really good. Hope this helps

If rent a car from Hertz, how do i know or Which type of fuel to fill in the car?

Lets say I rent a car from hertz and for some reason there is a crime committed in that car and the cops impound it. What happens to that car do I have to pay more can hertz come pick it up. Ive had a car impounded before but not a rent a car.
Hertz is the only one that can pick it up as their the registered owners.
In regards to the charges, it depends on the scenario. If you committed the crime, you would be charged with ‘Loss of Use’, the time the vehicle was not able to be rented out and all towing/storage and impound fees.

When you rent a car in Copenhagen Airport with Hertz, your credit card must be able to cover the price of your rental + 1500,- DDK (approx. 200.- Euros). That’s it.
They have a nice service there as well. You pick up your car right next where you exit, on your left.

Many credit cards cover CDW & Theft, but not 3rd party when you use them to reserve & rent a car. Hertz doesn’t offer 3rd party by itself when renting in Spain, is it already included?
