    The line also takes …
The line also takes long because companies like Budget , Dollar and Alamo FORCE the rental agents to oversell on the customers by selling insurance and also upgrades. If the rental agents do not reach a certain amount that these companies want they get fired. Avoid these places. Whoever sells insurance in Florida must be licensed. These companies do not provide any license to the rental agents. Even so they fire them if they don’t put more money in the companies pockets. Wake up authorities.

on top of all that …
on top of all that when you already have customers in hand. i am a manager in CA and have never ever seen this before. but u need to also remember you chose us more or less on price and availability then speedy service. but as a consumer as well i am sorry to see you had to wait that long…and i bet anyone who re rented from budget got a killer deal the next time for sure . Steve Lake Elsinore, CA.

    camera makes no …
camera makes no difference… come on we only make money when we rent cars there was obviously a problem on this one day. I am a manager in CA and have never ever see this before. there are so many veriable on this situation its hard to say what went wrong, we value every customer no matter what… as far as a reservation goes ok i see your side but here is ours… at least 10% no show everyday of the week… at least 15% were made the night before or only hours before… it is very hard to stay

    yea, I am …
yea, I am surprised at the hits and smoldering anger… too.
Never thought it wouold get more than 500 views… apparently I videoed a latent ANGER that vibrates with more than I thought. and I did Ask Management for an interview before posting… they declined. Wise on their part.

    Wow….a year later …
Wow….a year later and your video still poses alot of controversy and hits. You should consider making a “budget wait line 2″ sequel video. I think this time you should attempt to interview both sides of the coin. The customers point of view as well as maybe the employees or managements point of view (if your able to of course). What bothered me I guess with your video is it ONLY showed the customers point of view rather than looking at both sides of the coin.

    Well when I’m at …
Well when I’m at work at Budget the biggest “bitch” complaint I get is over damage. I always hear these famous words “I did not do it” when yet we have NO proof that it was previous. For example how can you NOT notice a big crack in the windshield before leaving the lot and say “I did not do it” when the car was clearly looked over by the customer and documented?? Which I have really seen happen before by the way on a windshield.

    non union? dude, …
non union? dude, were local 272, united auto workers. Just giving you some new information. Maybe the private owned locations arent union, but airport locations are defenitly union.

    You would Know …
You would Know better than I. I rarely rent a car, and since
this experience have twice avoided renting cars. But if you say Your Budget Corp. have better cars for equal or less than
Dollar… I’ll take your word for it. i just avoid renting or flying.
this was a rare thing for me. And since I avoid it like the plague. Thanks.

  12. mazzboss Says:

    thats because …
thats because dollar dont have the rates we have. We have quality cars at an affordable rate. Now question me on that

  13. williamwagener Says:

    Well How come, …
Well How come, Dollar has a very short line.?
Hope you survive the Lay offs.

  14. williamwagener Says:

    They were, about 2 …
They were, about 2 hours worth of patience…. , but I can’t believe this now has over 3000 views…. I lot of folks are pissed, all i did is document it…

  15. mazzboss Says:

    we cant even use …
we cant even use those cars anymore, and that dosent help matters either. Anyway, sorry to go on and on, but remember this, budget never intentionally wants to loose people. We try to provide a good service at an affordable rate.

p.s by the way, you guys got pex breathing down your necks by you?( performance excellence). those projects are over rated!

  16. mazzboss Says:

    cant just be …
cant just be patient. We’re not trying to loose customers. I dont know about your location, but by me we try to compensate our customers. Sometimes it works sometimes id dosent. All im saying is, there is no flawless buisness. Look at wall street!lol. Im only a service agent at budget but i see alot of what goes on, and as a lead agent i can tell you, we get it on our end too. Why wasnt my car ready, what took so long. Some of these same people are the people who trash the cars to which

  17. mazzboss Says:

    i work for budget …
i work for budget as well, i understand people get frusterated and just want to get their car and go. But they need to understand, sometimes the reservation center over books us and fleet distrobution dosent have the neccesary cars to fit those reservations. Plus now with the economy the way it is , my location (which will remain anonymous) has been going through massive layoffs. So you have overbooking, not enough distrobution, and not enough manpower to handle any of it. I dont know why people

  18. t2talll Says:

    You must really …
You must really have a stick up your @ss to waste time posting about rental car service. I joined all the frequent renter programs for all companies and wave at you when I go directly to my car, which is always clean and ready for me. Good luck to those of you not smart enough to figure it out.

    I agree, seeing as …
I agree, seeing as he is so critical towards Budget, why not show us how you would do it, or is everything you do perfect…without error? happens, get over it….there are people in this world who cannot afford to holiday/travel….so stop being so critical and be thankful.

  20. Ansett76 Says:

    yes and …
yes and unfortunately the AVIS attitude and lack of real service has permeated through the Budget group now like wildfire. Is such a shame ’cause Budget’s service was renowned, AVIS could have taken their culture on board, but as always, their stuck up attitude towards everything has prevailed by the looks of it!

  21. wimboes50 Says:

    VERY frustrating, …
VERY frustrating, that said I have waited nearly an hour on several occasions with Dollar too

  22. jorgehrueda Says:

ja ja ja you will …
ja ja ja you will be back to budget because is cheaper!!

  23. VikingNorseman Says:

    I made the …
I made the reservation 10 WEEKS AGO and there excuse was that there werent any cars left and that I had to wait 4 HOURS.

Well after a few dozen of these choice words (@#*!)
I was upgraded to another car but asked to pay the difference for the insurance.
Its just another reason why American companies are going bankrupt. But wait they want the handout from the $800,000,000,000 dollars and for its citizens to pay for service.
    Go figure.
Just a bunch of crooks and A-HOLES!!

  24. williamwagener Says:

    Never thought this …
Never thought this would get more than 200 views.
apparently, I hit a nerve cord.

  25. robfinslc Says:

    I work for Budget. …
I work for Budget. It could be they are short on help. Its NOT the employees fault that there short people but yet a customer will take it out on them. Keep in mind the employee TOO is under stress about long lines and little help. They dont want to hear your griping about waiting in line (which happens often) if its not the employees fault!! Just ask to talk to a manager for they often do all the staffing and scheduling. JUST BE PATIENT SHUT UP AND WAIT…LOL
