I’m booked with Hertz and it’s expensive. I’m in Canada … but my wife is fluent in Spanish, so we’re happy to go with a local company. Thanks!
I would take the bus… Not a long trip and its much much cheaper.
The local mass transportation in Spain is wonderful

Good luck, just don´t drive in Madrid any more than you absolutely need to. And Don´t park in town. And don´t park in Seville, either. Better yet, Don´t rent a car, unless you really need to travel to places you won´t be able to get to with the trains/busses. It’s a NIGHTMARE!! Public transport is excellent in Spain, and the trip from Madrid to Seville is only 2.5 hours on the (not so very) new AVE train.
