I’m 19, am I able to rent a car at the airport?

I can buy a plane ticket, but I need to rent a car at the airport. Does anyone know any companys in the terminal that will rent a car to a 19 year old?

Thank you!

I think most places you have to be 25. Part of this makes sense (for their liability and insurance purposes since so many people under age 25 get in accidents). But there may be a company out there who will rent one to people under 25. Like one previous answer said, it will probably cost a ton, though. Call around to different companies.

Call the Car Rental Company and ask.

On most rentals the minimum age is 25 without an additional Age Differential Charge, and 21 with an additional Age Differential Charge.

Go to the web site of the rental agency. Hertz has restrictions listed by rental site.

it can be done… but it’s gonna cost you a TON of money. I’m 24 and had to pay almost three times the normal rate for insurance/rental. they rape those of us under 25.

Enterprise will rent to you if you pick the car up in New York and New York only. Otherwise most companies will only rent to you if your an employee of the government or atlease 21.
