Will be leaving to go there next month, and I have never rented a car from the airport. Don’t know where anything is, so this would probably be the easiest way. Is the ACT close to the Airport? Do you know of any hotels close to ACT?
SFO has a car rental center with lots of companies together in one location. You take the air train over.
Rates vary according to what type of car, but probably around $35-50/day.
And what do you mean by ACT? American Conservatory Theatre? The theatre is on Geary near Mason, the school is on Grant near Market. Both are downtown locations, about 25 minutes from the airport.
